In this role, you will take on a key position as a Manufacturing Controlling Business Partner (m/f/d) and actively shape the financial future of our Wiring Accessories & Main Distribution Board segment. You will work closely with decision makers, ensure transparency on financial implications, and provide reliable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. Your contribution will be essential in driving performance, improving processes, and steering both financial and non-financial initiatives.
The position is located in Ottfingen (Germany) based on a permanent contract.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to the segment Manufacturing management team: interact with decision makers, highlight financial impacts, and provide a solid set of data for decision-making.
- Steer financial performance of the segment together with local controllers of 3 plants (Poland, Switzerland, Italy) and perform Manufacturing local controlling functions for our Ottfingen (Germany) plant.
- Take ownership of financial planning and forecasting within the framework of Integrated Financial Planning (IFP): from setting targets to steering budgets and raising awareness of risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with local Controlling teams and operational managers to translate operative plans into business plans in line with group standards.
- Manage budget and forecasting processes, analyze variances, recommend corrective actions, and support their implementation at top-management level.
- Support operational teams by providing training, reliable analyses, and actionable insights that enable sound business decisions.
- Ensure the consistent application of group standards across all processes.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) and 7-10 years of international experience in Controlling, ideally with strong proximity to the business.
- Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- High customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Strong command of Excel, SAP, and BW
- Fluent English is required, while German would be considered a strong asset.
