Computational image analyst (m/f/d)
in the department of Professor Sara Wickström, Department of Cell and Tissue Dynamics ().
YOUR TASKS
Our research aims to uncover how mammalian tissues are formed, maintained, and regenerated through cellular interactions. Uncovering these regulatory principles will facilitate the development of regenerative therapies and more effective diagnostics and treatments against cancers. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly interdisciplinary research team to employ an develop cutting edge computational tools for quantitative imaging, and integrative multi-omics.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated Computational image analyst (m/f/d) with a great interest in stem cell mechanobiology. The applicant is required to hold PhD in computational biology, biology, (bio)engineering, or a related field, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. The working language of the lab is English; knowledge of the German language is not necessary. Experience in computational image analysis, deep learning, and strong coding skills (Python, R) are required, experience in next generation sequencing analyses is an advantage.
